How we executed it
The banquette runs were engineered as sections small enough to pass through the restaurant's existing arched doorways, then joined on site so the finished seating reads as one continuous line. Solid oak tops were kiln balanced for a humid coastal climate before machining, and the brass bar trim was made oversized and cut to the as built counter dimension on site. Everything crossed the Atlantic in export crates with a full packing manifest per crate.
Lead time
11 weeks manufacturing plus 4 weeks ocean freight and customs
Complexity
High. Overseas delivery, a coastal humidity profile, curved leather banquettes and a bar counter that had to marry into existing masonry.
Installation
9 days on site with our own two person finishing team flown in, working around the venue's fit out trades.
Project management
One export project manager holding freight and documentation, one upholstery lead, and one on site finisher who signed the final handover with the owner.
