Cairo, Egypt · 64 rooms · drag the handle to furnish the space
How we executed it
One full room was built as a mock up and lived in by the operator for a week before we released the remaining 63. Fabric, foam density, drawer pull weight and headboard height were all corrected on that single room. Production then ran as a repeating cycle of eight rooms, each cycle packed, labelled by room number and staged so the hotel could open floor by floor instead of waiting for the whole building.
Lead time
14 weeks total, first eight rooms delivered in week 6
Complexity
High. 64 repeating room sets means every tolerance is multiplied 64 times, and hospitality upholstery has to survive daily commercial use, not domestic use.
Installation
Floor by floor over 3 weeks, 8 rooms per handover, with a snag walk signed by the operator before the crew moved up a level.
Project management
A dedicated hospitality project manager, a quality controller inspecting every eighth room against the approved mock up, and a logistics coordinator handling room numbered labelling.
